Tim "the RockDog"...is a long time veteran of the rock music scene (a true Hippy!), playing in successful productions since the 60's... sharing the spot-light with such rock icons as "Steppenwolf", "The Romantics", "Poison"... and "The BoxTops". A vision and serious need for a band with a "set list" from the past led to the formation of ... on a mission to belt out the best Rock, Soul & Blues from the greats of history.
"This project is the most enjoyable in my career", Tim states, very challenging & extremely rewarding to have the opportunity to create special memories and take the listeners back in time to the early rock that stormed our nation... memories of plugging a nickel in the jukebox to hear that special Beatle's tune... that ole Chevy & your first date... this is what it's all about - making everything old, new again!

Fav Band: The Beatles ... nothing else compares... they got it right the FIRST time!

Influences: George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, SRV, Steve Lukathier and Brian May.

The Gear: Gibson Les Paul & Firebird Model VII, Rickenbacker, Vox Mark III, Paul Reed Smith, Ibanez QT, Jackson, Yamaha Signature Tele, Dean V & too many Fender Strats for guitars [View the Hippy Strat]  [View the RockDog Custom]. Marshall, Vox & Kustom amps with BX & JCM series 4x12 cabs... and armed with a deadly arsenal of special effects.

Although not nearly as "ancient" as RockDog, Chip has spent the better part of the past 20 years toting gear in and around Knoxville. Between all the set-ups and break-downs, he's also managed to belt out tunes for such local acts as The Wrecking Crew, Haywire, Bandit, Killer Jumbo Shrimp, and most recently, The Invaders. Over the years, Chip has shared the stage with everyone from Badfinger to Lee Greenwood. Going from mostly 5-piece bands to 2 BAD's unique 2-man concept was a little weird at first, but he likes to add that "This is the first band I've been in where I know at least half of us will show up on time."

Fav Band: The Doors . . . gotta dig anyone who mumbles and gets away with it.

Influences: Jim Morrison . . . duh, Sting, Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh.

Equipment: Fatar keyboards, Roland sound modules and LP congas.
