Palm for Pocket PC
This version of ClinRx for Pocket PC is the Creatinine Clearance Calculator Screen from the Palm version. It will calculate CrCl by 4 different methods. This version is "freeware".
To run ClinRx on your Pocket PC, you must have the runtime for MicroSoft Compact Framework installed. You can download the installer for this from MicroSoft HERE. This download is large, but the actual installation on your Pocket PC is only around 2mb and will enable you to run many other programs that are developed with the new Visual Studio .NET . If you are not sure if your handheld has this already installed, I advise to go ahead and download from the above link and if already installed it will update to the latest version.
You will need WinZip to unzip the downloaded file. Then after installing the Compact Framework runtime, run the ClinRxSetup.exe file that is in the zip file.
It is possible to run ClinRx for the Palm OS on your Pocket PC. A new Pocket PC program called StyleTap Platform allows you to run applications written for the Palm OS on your Pocket PC or Windows Mobile device. You can download the StyleTap Platform from the StyleTap Web Site. It can be installed as a 15 day demo. I advise installing the demo, downloading ClinRx Palm for PPC demo, and installing them on your device. Do this before buying either program so as to insure it runs on your PPC.
