Unknown Mortar

There is 1 unknown mortar in Wisconsin.  It is at the following location:

La Crosse, WI    Campbell Cemetery

This GAR Memorial is located in Campbell Cemetery in La Crosse. The inscription says:

This Mortar erected by John Flinn Post #77 GAR May 27, 1898 was at the capture of Mobile, New Orleans and Vicksburg. Weight 980 lbs.

Engraved on the muzzle: Mortar No. 4 980 lbs. CPK Fort Pitt, PA 1863
