2002 Youth Hunt

Some of the successful youth hunters and mentors

A brush up on hunters safety and a chance to try and break some clay birds

Kim breaks a clay bird while dad and mentor Paul grin

Orville points out to Kim and Ana a likely place for pheasants and how to approach it down wind with the dogs. Within minutes two Roosters were flushed and each of the girls drew feathers on their respective Roosters.

Both injured birds were retrieved

Will Pick brought out his championship dog and gave some of the older boys a chance to hunt behind a top notch dog. Still have to hit them though.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again

Success!!

Some of the mentors discus the hunt back at the club house while some of the kids chowed down on hotdogs and brats before heading back for more bird hunting.
