Sporting Clays Shoot

The Sugar River Valley chapter of Pheasants Forever & the Argyle Rod & Gun Club are sponsoring a 50 Bird Sporting Clays Shoot open to all Pheasants Forever Members in Wisconsin, Illinois & any other interested friends.  The event starts at 10 am,  Sat. July 20th, 2002.

          Modified Lewis Class Rules will be used with lots of prize. The 50 Bird Sporting Clays Shoot is $40 per person or $150 per 4 man PF Chapter Team. Pheasants Forever Chapter Teams are made up of a group of any 4 members of your Chapter.  Team registration is $150 for your 4 party group.  Each Chapter may have as many teams representing it as you wish.  Individuals and teams may shoot as many times as you wish also.  The Chapter Team with the highest score will have its Chapter Name and Individuals engraved on a Traveling Trophy.  Numerous Lewis Class prize levels will also be awarded individually.  A Fun shoot will also run all day in addition to other Raffles.  Food & Drink will be Available.

   

                Come on out and check out our Remodeling Job. Its a great place to sit back and enjoy the view. Take a break for a drink or sandwich between Sporting Clay Rounds

        The Argyle Rod & Gun Club is located 2 miles east of Argyle & 10 miles west of Monroe Wisconsin on HWY 81.  From the Madison area head south off the Beltline on 18-151.  At Verona exit south on Co. PB or Hwy 69.  PB eventually ends at HWY 69.  Take 69 south to County C west at Monticello.  Take a right and go almost all the way Argyle, C ends at HWY 81. Then turn left, 1 mile on 81, the club is at the top of the hill on the left.  If your coming from the east or south head for Monroe and then go 10 miles west of town on 81.  The Club is on your right.  Check out our Map Link

  

        The course winds through the Gun Club’s 80 acres past food plots and prairie grass fields planted with the help of our PF chapter.  Free camping areas, on an adjacent 200+ acre PF project, are available Friday and Saturday nights for those of you coming from a distance.   When your not shooting or eating you can tour high quality wetland, savanna, & prairie remnants, with numerous threatened or endangered species, check out some of our modified prairie & food plot planting machinery or wet a line in a fish-for-fun Trout Pond filled with lunker trout.  Bring the family and make a weekend of it.
