The WEB Master's JournalOr is it WEB Novice . . .On these pages, Rich provides his commentary, personal views, gripes and 'at-a-boys about what he is encountering in his journey to become a WEB 'master'. "Should I encounter a moment of clarity, I hope to have it recorded in these journals."
I've had WEB pages for a long time, having published a resume page way back when a 'browser' was the cutting edge of the web. In order to get one, you had to find a free copy of something you'd expect to find on your bathroom wall - mosaic (?). I remember selecting an ISP (internet service provider) based on if you could actually publish a page containing a graphic file. This was during the period when we had Bulletin Board Servers. Some, posted a notice that they would never provide full internal access through their service - well maybe just a little window, so you and archie could play with gophers. The resume served me well by landing me an unsolicited job offer (which I took) and I've been surfing ever since. But becoming a WEB 'master' is much different that having a few personal pages. So for those few who have drilled this deep into my little site, I invite you to join me on my journey. |
