Google hates us and our traffic dropped to almost zero. In an effort to fix our Google problems, we are rewriting the site under a new domain name katsvitaminherbs.com. Some small amount of good news from Vitamin Power. They are now once again drop shipping all orders. The oh-shit part of that is that they want $8.95 to ship anything under $50 retail. Anyway, take a look at our new site and if you are a webmaster trade links with us. Look for the 'submit a useful resource' near the bottom of any page.

Professional Quality Vitamin Supplements for healthy living, weight management, nutrition, personal care, beauty and more.

We are still running the Vitamin Power Distributor web site and have more or less adjusted to the lack of drop ship support by carrying more inventory and making more effort to ensure we have very competitive prices.

Vitamin Power has discontinued a number of products. They are now notifying us when a product is discontinued and that is helpful.  We are concerned that we do not see 'new' products being introduced to replace the discontinued items.

There were also some price increases.  They were somewhat expected with the new year. We noticed some of the competing Vitamin Power web sites have dropped off the web.

On the plus side, I'm happy to report that Vitamin Power consistently does a very good job handling problems. First of all, it is rare for them to make a mistake.  When they do, they make an extra effort to quickly resolve the problem both for me and for my customer. Good Job!

12January2005 Opening Entry.

Kathy and I became Vitamin Power distributors during the summer of 2002.  They are not MLM, prices seemed reasonable with standard retail markups, the company offered to drop ship to the end customer at regular shipping rates of $5.95 and offered free shipping on orders when dealer cost was over $100.  When we asked, Vitamin Power gave permission to use their text and graphics to sell from our web site.

The people were friendly and accessible.  They answered the phone when called, responded to emails and best of all when people started ordering, we found it easy to place the orders at Vitamin Power and the company always shipped in a timely manner.

After having trying some MLM programs, Kathy and I thought 'What a breath of fresh air!'.  Since the beginning, we've worked hard to market the products on the internet and elsewhere and although slow, we've been generally pleased to see steady progress both in traffic to our site and sales.

When prospective distributors call and ask about the company, we tell them Vitamin Power has been easy to work with and ships on time.  When folks ask us how they can  become distributors for us, we refer them directly to Vitamin Power.

Last year, Vitamin Power added to $2 surcharge on orders placed for drop shipment.

This year, to qualify for drop shipment, the order must exceed $25 in dealer cost, the $2 surcharge still applies and other shipping charges are being increased until the order exceeds $1000 standard retail.

We emailed Vitamin Power on January 6th to ask how the companies 'satisfaction guarantee' will apply to products if we order in bulk and carry the items in stock.  We called today to follow up on the email.  While we thought we had asked a simple question, it seems the marketing manager and company president need some time to prepare an answer.

So we don't know what is happening with Vitamin Power.  Watch this site for emerging details.
