A new year, a new start. The ride planning meeting will be held at Outreach, 600 Williamson St. Tuesday, March 16 at 7pm. We would appreciate any input that you have, please plan to attend. NOTICE The Spring Valley ride scheduled for August 30 has been moved to Saturday, August 29 so that we can do the Madison Ride the Drive on Sunday. For a link to the Ride the Drive activities, see the Calendar. Sounds like it will be fun.

John climbed the fire tower at Mackensie Center on our ride this weekend, just as he promised. He was, however, a bit green on the way down. Congrats! (He was afraid that I'd write here that he chickened out...) Hot and sticky ride, though, but That's what summer is all about. It was a good workout.

FLASH The ride scheduled for August 1 to Lake Mills has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 2, due to the weather reports. Seems that there is a 60% chance of T-storms Saturday morning. See you on Sunday.

The Amish Country ride scheduled for Saturday, July 18, has been cancelled due to a ride leader scheduling conflict. Another lead could not be found. Sorry. Please join us on any other ride this season, we would like to ride with you.

Added a link for the Pedal for Paws ride on July 11. Good ride, hilly to flat depending on route which route you choose. Contact the ride lead for our starting time if you want to ride with a group.

The first ride was a success as the weather held out and it was reasonably calm. The Coffee Stout at the Tied House was very tasty. Please note the change in starting point for the April 18th ride. Olin Park South lot is the one in the direction of the Hotel. Hope to see you there.

On March 11, we held our annual ride planning meeting and the results are posted in the 2009 calendar to the right. We have a lack of rides in June due to the vacations of most of the ride leaders. If you would like to lead a ride in June, let us know via email and we can post it in the calendar. Other than that, it looks to be a good riding season. Let's hopw for good weather.
