The Badger Trail ride that was listed on Sunday the 26th has been changed to Saturday, October 25. I am hoping that the diner with the great pies is open in Montecello and we found it was not on Sunday last year.

The camping trip to Hartman Creek has been canned for this year, due to lack of interest. In it's place, I have substituted a Saturday ride from Warner Park to Mackenzie Center with Lunch in Poynette. Hope you can be there.

Due to lack of interest (participation, iffy weather, ets) the camping trip scheduled for Oct 5-7 has been cancelled. There were only two respondents and so a campsite was not reserved. Better luck next year.

Some changes have been made to the Calendar. Here are the highlights. The Sunday August 19 ride has changed starting point. Terry is unable to lead the ride so we will be riding out to Cookesville from Brittingham Park for a 55 mile ride, starting at 9am. Second, the trail ride scheduled for Sunday Oct. 28 has been moved to the Badger State trail. We will leave from the Paoli Town Square at 10am for a 32 mile ride to Monticello for lunch. The ride features a railroad tunnel so do bring a light. Your State trail pass is required for this ride.

Well, I'm beginning to believe that we should find another second ride as the Paoli ride has seen less than adequate weather for the second year in a row. At least the Cap City Trail ride had perfect weather for our beginning ride of 2006. I hope that the rest of the year will see sunny skies and warm temperatures.
