We live in Cedaredge CO in a home we built in 2004. It has a large garage, a big detached wood shop, hot-tub, and plenty of room for visitors and campers.
Judy has primarily been a stay at home mom although she has been a police dispatcher and Director of a Christian Crises Pregnancy Center. From 1997-2001 she was the Hostess of the Baer House Bed & Breakfast in Baker City OR. We purchased this home (which was unlivable) in 1995 and spent 2-1/2 years rebuilding it into a B&B. This experience was one of the highlights of our life.

We are both Christians and have attended a variety of different denominations over the years in the small towns we have lived in. We are currently a part of The Father’s House in Cedaredge. Nick’s favorite Christian authors are Francis Schafer , C.S. Lewis and Dave Breese. We believe that all evidence accurately points to the historical existence of Jesus Christ and his resurrection from the dead. That being a true, one is compelled to act upon the evidence, recognize that Jesus indeed is God, and come to a personal saving relationship with Him through faith (Romans 10: 8-10).
Nick currently consults and teaches Incident Command System classes part-time with emergency management organizations where he is an Associate with Organizational Quality Associates.
Our hobbies include motorcycles (Nick), crafts (Judy), traveling and camping, reading, photography, and visiting our kids and grandkids.
We also have a beautiful American Cocker Spaniel female, Fritz: she is a real joy in our life! |
