My love affair with motorcycles began when I was about 10 and I got an electric steam engine for a Christmas present. Watching the engine “spin” and the crankshaft turn was pure delight. I have always loved mechanical “things” and usually disassembled everything I bought (cars, bikes, lawnmowers, etc) just to see how they worked and then put them back together again. I bought my first motorcycle when I was 19; a 1968 250 BSA Starfire. Here is a (partial) list of the bikes I have owned over the years.
