*Twelve Angry Women*

by Reginald Rose, adapted by Sherman I. Sergel
Directed by LaVerne Meyer

Program notes: "Beyond a reasonable doubt."
Twelve jurors are charged with the duty to convict or exonerate a 19-year-old boy who is being tried for the murder of his father. After listening to all the evidence, the jurors -- all women -- retire to the jury room to make their decision.
But personalities of the jurors become entwined as the decision is made. One of the jurors is a strong, forceful and opinionated woman; another a woman of wealth and position. Yet another is very frightened and naive. One is an honest but dull-witted woman; another loud and flashy. There is a mild, gentle old woman on the jury and one who is angry and bitter. One is a refugee from Europe who came to this country in 1941 and another is a slick, bright advertising woman who thinks of human beings in terms of percentages, graphs and polls. They came from all walks of life yet they were all faced with the same challenge. Guilty or Not Guilty?
