"Once Upon A Summer"

"Once Upon a Summer" captures the very special world of pre-teenagers as they experience the adventures that await them at summer camp. The dialog and musical styles help express children's changing moods - including enthusiasm, rebelliousness, idealism, devotion and aversion.

Thirty two Monroe-area children took part in this production, directed by Jane Swiggum and Patty Linden, with musical direction by Cindy Blanc-Blum.

This was a fast-moving musical with plenty of summer fun that includes intrigue, romance, typical childhood pranks and even a mischievous raccoon.
