The Monroe Theatre
Guild and Monroe Clinics Hospice Care collaborated for the first time
ever. These organizations united to produce a drama in two acts. The
Shadow Box encompasses both meanings of the phrase: to spar with
an imaginary opponent, and a framed compartment used to display precious
memorabilia. Michael Cristofers characters explore and sometimes
fight with a loved ones terminal illness while simultaneously examining
moments and experiences that are cherished in memory.
