Jim earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Accounting with honors from Madison Area Technical College in 1991.  He worked five years at a local CPA firm in Stoughton, Wisconsin where he gained knowledge in tax, accounting and computer support.  At the same time, Jim attended Edgewood College to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  Jim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Edgewood and passed the CPA exam in 1997.  He joined Meicher and Associates, LLP in 1996 and became a partner in the firm in 2005.

Jim is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Areas of Specialized Knowledge:  Individual and corporate income taxation, accounting and computer technology.

Favorite Outside Activities:  Spending time with family, playing softball and attending UW Hockey games.
