Sometimes the wind howls musical release
it spins and growls never wanting to cease
Freezing the meadow, freezing the glade
Swirling the snow in a rhythmic cascade

A journey man trying to make us all care
A lying man sits in the president’s chair
An ego greater than a bottomless pool
you can’t separate the tweet from the fool

the wind stops flowing in silence and calm
Soothing as song from a forgotten psalm
A million stars shine in the winter skies
Lighting our way home and guiding our eyes

Evil is strong but Good is stronger
Turmoil is long but peace is longer
May this season bring you comfort and cheer
With health and happiness for the New Year
