The Ingersoll Family Band
Over the years the
family grew up, but
they never stop making music together. Whenever
there was a family event the
instruments would come out and the music would start.
In January of 2004,
Charlie took his
unique mandolin playing style to Heaven's Gates
to serenade God's family.
Agneta and the children continued the love of music that
she and Charlie had
started many years ago.
Today The Ingersoll
Family Band perform a
blend of country gospel and tradition music
with a Bluegrass flavor. They blend
3 & 4 part harmony singing with strong instrumental
work to form a smooth
acoustic sound.
Agneta plays the
guitar and some fiddle,
mandolin and bass, as well as, writing many
of the songs she performs. She can
still yodel with the best. Her son George Seymour Jr.
has penned dozens of
songs that he sings with the band, as well as, playing guitar &
bass.
George's daughter, Renee, has started singing with the band and has
become one
of the
real crowd pleasers with her strong vocals.
