I am new to bow hunting, this is only my second year out. I live in Pa.
On the first day of Archery I was sitting in my stand just enjoying the
fall foliage. A couple of small doe came walking by, even though I had my
doe permit I didn't want to take one unless it was a big doe. After a
while the biggest doe I ever seen in my life came walking by. I could not
resist, I got ready and took my shot. I hit her right through the neck and
down she went, it only took about 30 seconds and she died. I was so
excited that I decided that archery was for me. It was definetly more of
challenge than hunting with the rifle. Bow hunting is a sport for me.
