Childhood Life and my Cousins.

Memories of my childhood are strong and pleasant, growing up on a southern Wisconsin farm. I  recall with fond memory those days and the kindness and loving environment of my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and yes my Cousins . Walton cousins that I have the most vivid memories of, varied in age, but their families would come visit us on our Wisconsin farm in the summer months. This was  presumably to get away from  city life and relax I guess, and for me that meant company my own age!  I  had lots of fun showing them around and remember those times more than any other period of my life. There was not much money at our house but loads of fun and good times.
This page is dedicated to these pleasant memories and specifically I dedicate this page to all my cousins and especially to Judy Agema who we all adored.  She created memories that will live on for quite some time, for everyone who knew her. Rest in Peace.
The Walton farms (580 acres total) were operated by two brothers Millard and Paul and of course visits by relatives were always met with the dilema, where does everyone stay?  There were three farmhouses and although I do not have a picture of Millards house these are the two where I grew up... and where all of my cousins visited at one time or another.
Riding horse was a favorite pastime for cousins and of course there were no thoroughbreds but rather the famiy workhorse doubled as a riding horse. Another fun activity was visiting the big rock and tramping through the woods, and since I was the host I had to show everyone where to go and boy I was sure good at that!!!  We have not had many reunions over the years but I am currently collecting more  pictures and as I get more they will be posted here. These are some you can look at now. Here are some  Second Generation Cousins
The idea to do this page came from a phone conversation with my friend and second cousin, Mary Walton Johnson. Thanks Mary! Please send me more memories and I will add them to Mary's pleasant memories page!
