Delilah is happy, healthy and still the Queen of the house. Her recovery, to the point that she is now, was relatively slow but with *minimal* limitations on activities. Steady improvements occurred continuously for about a year after her gold beads-- to a point of having approximately 98% of her pre-wobbler abilities back. She still loves to run full out, dig like a fiend and wrestle with the best of them. She has her limitations, but she's not in any pain that I can tell, and she seems very happy (except when her 'step sister' Rossi has a toy she thinks that *she* should have...)
Her few limitations also seem to be self imposed / personal preferences such as refusing to walk across wide expanses of vinyl flooring (such as our kitchen), only raising up on her hind feet to plant fore paws on me when she's got really muddy paws, and preferring to wrestle with her pack mates while laying on her back--using a very effective 'nip, bite and scratch' method!
I thank my Father in Heaven every time I watch Delilah play, bounce across the backyard, or jump on her brother! I don't know why he chose me to bless so mightily, but I have to give all glory to God for this marvelous healing! Even if her wobblers sneaks back up on her, she's having a wonderful quality of life right now and I'm so thankful for that.

Delilah's fourth birthday was November 5, 2002. She remains in good health other than a constant "battle of the bulge" due (I believe) to the use of prednisone in the treatment of her wobblers as a pup.

"Woo-Wooing" Happy Girl!Delilah: 5 years post wobblers
Delilah continues in good health. She tore ligaments in her right knee and had successful surgery for repair. Unfortunately she has developed a bit of arthritis in that knee so she doesn't run much anymore. However, she's living 'La Vita Loca' with no reason to run- so life is good! She continues to rule over the universe of dog toys, and has developed a fondness for lying out in the grass watching the daddy longlegs and the hummingbirds (she's long since convinced the squirrels to avoid tresspassing!).
Delilah turned 6 years old on November 5th, 2004. She continues to be "in remission" in regards to her wobblers. Thanks for visiting!
January 2006: 6 1/2 years post wobblers
Over the past several years, Delilah has had difficulty with injury to her knee ligaments. This has nothing to do with her wobblers, but does make it more difficult to get around. She's had surgery on both her knees and as such, has slowed down a bit and takes daily doses of Deramaxx for her post surgery arthritis. She still dearly loves to get on the bed and roll around in the covers, and still controls a portion of the toy universe.
NOVEMBER 2008: 9 1/2 years post wobblers
Delilah turned 10 years young on November 5!! She's going as strong as can be expected at her age and is, overall, doing very well. As I watch her meander around the back yard exploring mole holes, and digging to reach China, I am just amazed that we've reached this milestone birthday. She's still troubled by arthritis in both knees, but we've changed her regimen from Deramaxx to Ceytl-M and MSM. That, and a heater by her bead on cold mornings help tremendously.
I give all praise to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for his blessings and answering my prayers for Delilah.
