Books - Well since I mentioned books, I should say I'm a bit of a bibliophile. My reading collection is an eclectic mix ranging from: military history, techno-punk, gardening (specifically herbs, veggies, fruits and nuts) religious texts of all faiths, computers and electronics of all sorts, outdoor sports, astronomy and other sciences, as well as humor (Get Fuzzy, Bloom County/Outland/Opus, Far Side, Calvin&Hobbes, Doonesbury, Peanuts and Garfield are all in my "favorites") to name a "few".

Beekeeping - Put this one under "Homesteading activities", as it is another step in "part time self sufficiency". The Beekeeping is new for 2007 and I am starting with one hive. I bought it at Betterbee and I am joining the local Association here.

Outdoor Activities - I always enjoy getting outdoors for hiking, biking, kayaking, rock climbing, casual sports and driving around here in the New England I know and love.

Fraternal.Org - just kidding. Some of my off hours are spent in Fraternal activities. My "mother lodges" : Morning Star Lodge #13 AF&AM  (Woonsocket RI), Scottish Rite - Valley of Providence (Providence. RI), United Brothers #13 I.O.O.F. (Bristol RI) and Granite Lodge #33 I.O.O.F. (Pascoag RI). Now I have affiliations up here in NH: I am Junior Warden at Jewell Lodge #94  in Pembroke and a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Concord, NH.

Unitarian Universalism - well now I expect anyone who knows me to experience heart attack like symptoms at the thought of me being in a church... but honestly, I do believe I've found some folks that I fit in with. I've been attending a church in Concord.

Astronomy -  I'm pretty happy with my little Meade ETX90EC. I'm loading it up with all the bells and whistles (List of Accessories). Now I just need a better area to do some observing (glad it's portable!). Hopefully I'll be renovating an old Criterion RV6 Dynascope soon! (Waiting on you Dad!!) and maybe someday get a "light bucket".

Collectibles - I'm a junky for Classic AD&D stuff (as well as other Fantasy items and RPG's). Here is a list of my D&D collection. I also collect MtG (all expansions up to recent) and Wyvern (have all of them) card games, US Postal Commemorative sets (1971-2006 only missing a few now!), computer software (well, I don't really mean to collect it but it certainly has piled up!), CD's & DVDs (again with the incidental collection....even have a few old Laerdiscs) and books.

House Projects - Like any homeowner, I have projects always in progress around the house. Besides some outdoor stuff, I'd like to replace some light fixtures and faucets this year as well as finally get around to finishing the basement project.

Locksmithing - While it could be considered a second (or primary) income if I chose to do so...it has been relegated to a hobby lately with school and work and all of the above. I always enjoy learning and trying new things (as you can see).
