Neuro-Emotional Technique

(Structural, Bio-chemical, & Neuro-Emotional)

Chiropractors can also use a technique called Neuro Emotional Technique (N.E.T).  In this  technique, the doctor uses muscle testing, body reflex points, and semantic reactions to locate the source of the Structural, BioChemical or Neuro-Emotional problem(s).  Once the problem(s) has been located and identified, the doctor can then adjust the related subluxations and relieve the negative energy to the problem area.
STRUCTURAL
Chiropractors remove Vertebral Subluxations .  Vertebral Subluxations are misaligned bones that affect your nerves and can affect your balance, spinal health, posture, resistance to diseases and internal organ dysfunction's, (including your brain).  Vertebral Subluxations prevent your body from functioning properly, and can make your body susceptible to physical, emotional and chemical stress which in turn leads to sickness, weakness, fatigue and aging.
BIO-CHEMICAL
Chiropractors also concentrate on the bodies need for Nutrition.  God gave us a perfect body, with the power to heal itself, as long as we supply it with God made nutrients that he so graciously supplied for us.  Unfortunately, with today's lifestyles, pollution, preservatives, and so on, it makes it almost impossible for us to obtain any nutrition from the food we eat.  Cooking alone, kills most vitamins in our food.  We must have another way of supplying our bodies with the Trace Elements, Nutrients, Enzymes, Minerals & Vitamins that we so desperately need. SCOPE OF PRACTICE - ALABAMA CHIROPRACTIC PHYSICIANS

The Code of Alabama, section 34-24-12O, reads as follows: (a) The term "chiropractic" when used in this article, is hereby defined as the science and art of locating and removing without the use of drugs or surgery any interference with the transmission and expression of nerve energy in the human body by any means or methods taught in schools or colleges of Chiropractic which are recognized by the state board of chiropractic examiners.
(b) Any chiropractor who has been certified and licensed by the state board of chiropractic Examiners may examine, analyze and diagnose the human body and its diseases by the use of any physical, clinical, thermal or radonic method, the use of  X-ray diagnosing, and may use any other general method of examination of diagnosis and analysis taught in any school of Chiropractic ecognized by the state board of chiropractic.
(c) Chiropractors certified and licensed by the state board of chiropractic examiners may practice chiropractic as set forth in subsections (a) and (b) of this section and may also recommend the use of foods and concentrates, food extracts, and may apply first aid and hygiene, but chiropractors are expressly prohibited from prescribing or administering to any person any drugs included in materia medica, except as herein provided, from performing any surgery, from practicing obstetrics or from giving X-ray treatments or treatments involving the use of radioactive materials of any description."
