Fragments: The Mormon Who Taught Me How To Slay A Dragon...
Dungeons & Dragons.... Yes I was one of those people... It was the late 1970's and Fantasy Role-Playing had not yet reared it's head into the mainstream. I was still in High School at the time I was introduced to this new way to escape reality. What's interesting is the fact that I was convinced to give it a try by a group of Mormons...
Yes, the Church sucked me into this world of elves, dwarves, orcs, paladins & phraints. Mages and Clerics, Warriors and Assassins..Good vs. Evil...Fantastic! Join me as I take you back to that fatefull day where it all began for me...

 Fiction - Guerrilla Casting: 2010
The year is 2010.. the not too distant future. Conglomerates like Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon have declared martial law on the use of bandwidth. Corporations have unified under the flag of the Google Empire to restrict and control all media..The FCC enforces this new world order using invasive Black-Ops technology to relentlessly scan the airwaves searching for bands of guerrilla podcasters and other new media terrorists. Rebel factions are forced to do hit and run style broadcasts in order to evade the goon squads dispatched across the country to round up these low-tech groups...

It's 3AM and I'm sippin' some Raven's Brew as I stand out on the deck and look out over the kennels. It's deathly silent. The dogs are tucked away dreaming of rabbits, twitching in their sleep. I'm feeling very relaxed, and yet I can't sleep. Spring is here and the warmer weather lends itself to more enjoyable biking. The night air is crisp but warm and the darkness folds itself around me as I record this episode.

Mandatory Spay/Neuter is the topic and I had an opportunity to interview someone who has a lot to say about it. After 20 years of dealing with both the public and the government on all matters related to pets and how they impact our lives, my landlady has more than a few thoughts on this subject... Is the general public really aware of what's going on behind the scenes, and what's the real agenda?
I thought I'd throw this bone out there and let you chew on it a bit.

Euthanasia. Is this doggie karma? Today's show is dedicated to the ones who are no longer with us. I look at how the rescue operation here only makes allowances for the dogs with potential to have a future. The ones who don't make the grade are living on borrowed time. Putting a dog down for cancer is one thing but to do it because you need to free up some space makes me sick. Yet there are only so many slots available here and dogs waiting to get in. As sad as it is, the system overall works for the greater good of all the dogs. I wish there were more options.
Other topics covered today include a brief update on my father as he undergoes cancer treatment yet again and a look at how my other projects are coming along.

Learn a little bit about what I do each day to care for 16 Doberman Pinschers as part of my trade off for staying here. Running a Doberman Rescue operation and my philosophy on the dogs are the topic today.
Too often these noble dogs are misrepresented in the media as vicious malevolent creatures. In fact they are quite the opposite, being one of the most gentle and loyal companions around.
