"This has become one of my favorite podcasts, with his dry monotonic and completely mesmeric delivery succinctly detailing his experiences and imparting great geek tips for his listeners." -- Curtis Cross
"Dude listening to your podcast is like hearing myself think. It's awesome!" -- Trucker Steve

Fragments: The Mormon Who Taught Me How To Slay A Dragon...
Dungeons & Dragons.... Yes I was one of those people... It was the late 1970's and Fantasy Role-Playing had not yet reared it's head into the mainstream. I was still in High School at the time I was introduced to this new way to escape reality. What's interesting is the fact that I was convinced to give it a try by a group of Mormons...
Yes, the Church sucked me into this world of elves, dwarves, orcs, paladins & phraints. Mages and Clerics, Warriors and Assassins..Good vs. Evil...Fantastic! Join me as I take you back to that fatefull day where it all began for me...

 Fiction - Guerrilla Casting: 2010
The year is 2010.. the not too distant future. Conglomerates like Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon have declared martial law on the use of bandwidth. Corporations have unified under the flag of the Google Empire to restrict and control all media..The FCC enforces this new world order using invasive Black-Ops technology to relentlessly scan the airwaves searching for bands of guerrilla podcasters and other new media terrorists. Rebel factions are forced to do hit and run style broadcasts in order to evade the goon squads dispatched across the country to round up these low-tech groups...

| TL24 - Life, Death, And All The Shit In The Middle.. |
|
|
This episode is for my father who passed away on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 4:38 PM [PST]. I am struggling with his death and all of the emotions that consume one following the loss of a loved one. Without dwelling too deep into the sadness I discuss some of the things I wish I could go back and change. Mortality, spiritual belief and creative expression through the art of podcasting are topics as well.
Thanks to all who have given a kind word during this time, it's appreciated more than you can know.

Life is only temporary. We lease a random number of years and then move to the next level. What we do with those years is up to us. My relationship with my family is deteriorated and now that my father is on death's door I am struggling with both mortality as well as a lifetime of memories which wash over me leaving my mind dark and empty. The symbology of Star Wars seems to apply here as the dark side tries to envelope me.

My friend Kenny Clark is in the studio producing a CD entitled Lazytown and he was kind enough to share some of the 'scratch tracks' with me. The process of creating a CD is far different than you might think as technology allows each instrument to be recorded in a separate audio track and modified to perfection. Several of his songs are presented here today in the raw format they start out in as the song is mixed and produced.
Other topics include an RFID update and general discussion.

I discuss my cash flow or rather my lack of one as I work only 16 hours a week at Home Depot. I'm my own worst enemy as I tie in my financial irresponsibility mostly to blame for my current situation. Things are tight for me during this time of year and paying fines makes it even harder to ride it out. These thoughts weigh heavy upon my mind lately as I pedal my bike back and forth to work and my DUI class.
Topics also covered in today's show include producing a podcast on a shoestring budget. With the exception of online storage and my DSL connection I am producing this show and maintaining the website at zero cost.
I wrap up today's podcast with an update on my father as he battles his cancer.

| TL02 - DMV Kangaroo Kourt |
|
|
I delve into both my current as well as my prior DUI nightmare from 1999 and the consequences I am now facing.
This time around my lawyer was able to get my conviction reduced to a wet reckless with NO suspension. The DMV however is not governed by our fine legal system. They are above the law and it truly is a fucking Kangaroo Kourt with them as I discovered at my DMV hearing where they proceeded to treat my conviction as a DUI anyway and take my license for a year with no option for a working license.
I also relate how Home Depot reacted when I requested availability to attend my court ordered DUI Program 2 days a week.
