FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Many of the guests at my gigs want to know more about the act, and ask some very interesting questions. Here are a few of the most common questions I get, and of course the answers.
Q: Is this like karaoke? I mean, can audience members get up and sing with you or play one of your instruments?
A: This is difinitely NOT karaoke. The songs on my list are carefully edited to suit my vocal range and I've practiced them extensively to get the sound I have achieved. Unless you are another trained musician or singer, it would not be adviseable to want to join in the act. Just enjoy the music from where you are.
Q: What you do looks easy. Can anyone do it?
A: I make it look easy because I've been doing it for years. If you want to try it, all you need is a guitar, laptop computer, expensive sequencing program, P.A. system, a dozen cables and lots and lots of practice.
Q: Can I hire you to play for my event?
A: Sure. I'd be glad to entertain you, whether it's for a party, class reunion, special event, wedding, ship launching, divorce, celebration or picnic. I've played hundreds of weddings over the years and can supply you with all the entertainment you'll need. Click the CONTACT ME button above for my phone number and e-mail address.
Q: I see by your songlist that you play mostly 30s, 40s and 50s. What if I want you to play Rock 'n Roll or Country or Polkas or old standards for my party. Can you accomodate me?
A: Absolutely. The songlist on this web page is just a sample of what I do. I have more than 700 songs in my total repertoire. If you'll give me enough notice, I should be able to handle special requests that aren't on my list.
