This is the home page of Larry, Betsy, Caitlin, and Matthew. The photo of Caitlin and Matthew is from Cactus Bluff (1998). Caitlin is 17 and about to be a senior at West High School . Matthew is 14 and just finished eighth grade at Hamilton Middle School. Larry is not sure where he will be teaching next year. For the past seven years Larry was teaching at West High School's School Within A School program. The SWS was located in the Neighborhood House 29 S. Mills Street but was closed at the end of the school year. Previously Larry was teaching math and working with the Phoenix program at Deforest High School.
Larry has been using many internet sites in his teaching. Most of the sites are in math and science but there are several good general sites. These sites have both on and off line ideas to use in your classroom. Most of the sites are geared towards high school and middle school aged students. Check out the SWAPS site.
Larry finished grad school in C&I at the UW in the summer of 2004. Betsy finished that summer as well.
